The movie, ‘American Sapana’ (अमेरिकन सपना ) is a film about modern day Nepali Students and their troubles while studying in the USA. The fictionalized version, based on a number of true stories represent the truth faced by foreign students In the USA. The movie is the presentation of Manoj Kumar Upreti for Mt. Everest Cine Creation.

Rajesh Hamal took poster(Hasiya) on the top of Stonedon mountain

 ‘Hasiya’ producer Milan Chams and Actor Rajesh Hamal climbed Stonedon mountain in UK and displayed the posted of the upcoming movie ‘Hasiya’ on the top. Although it is termed the highest mountain in Wales, the 1,085 m (3,560 ft) mountain is more like a stone hill than a mountain.

  On top of the mountain Rajesh Hamal and the team featured posters of ‘Hasiya’. Rajesh Hamal and ‘Hasiya’ team is currently in the UK to premier the movie and promote it.

Before heading to the UK Rajesh Hamal had planned to climb the peak located at Stonedonia National Park. The mountain is known for being used in 1953 by Edmund Hillary to train himself for the Mount Everest ascent.

a Beyoncé-Style Surprise Album Release (Mariah Carey Is Planning)

It's been a long and winding road for Mariah Carey's 14th album, which she began working on in 2010, but after being pushed back once again just last week, we might finally get to listen to it soon... we just don't know exactly when. Carey is planning a Beyoncé-style surprise release, she tells Billboard.

While Carey herself doesn't specifically mention Beyoncé by name, this is what's happening. Carey says she'll announce the album's name, track listing, artwork and music all at once. "I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title," she says.

But is it really "pulling a Beyoncé" if you tell everyone first?

In the interview, Carey also talks about the string of failed singles she's so far released in anticipation of the album and where she went for inspiration.

    After immersing herself in her own catalog ("a friend of mine made me a playlist with 1,000 of my songs on it called 'The Ultimate MC Audio Collection,'" she says), Carey explored her feel-good, hip-hop/R&B side as well as her more introspective moments that could give her fans the best of all worlds.

Only Mariah Carey could cite herself as the inspiration for her next album.

डुबेर मृत्यु भएका दुबै जनाको शब पोष्टमार्टमका लागी पर्वत जिल्ला अस्पतालमा ल्याइएको डिमुवा प्रहरी चौकीले बताएको छ । समिताका श्रीमान् दिपेन्द्र विक बैदेशिक रोजगारीको शिलशिलामा बिदेशमा रहेका छन् भने शर्मिलाका श्रीमान विक्रम विक घरमै डकर्मी काम गर्दै आएका छन् ।

उनीहरुको साथमा पुगेका ९ बर्षिय बालकले घरपरिवारलाई खबर गरेपछि घटनाबारे जानकारी भएको थियो । प्रहरीका अनुसार उनीहरु पौडी खेल्नकै लागि भनेर नदी किनारमा पुगेको र चिप्लिएर गहिरो खोचमा पुगेपछि मृत्यु भएको हुन सक्ने आशंका गरिएको छ ।

Namrata Shrestha went through a surgery, halted shootings

Namrata Shrestha(Actress) went through a surgery 14 April. Right after the completion of her movie 'Tandav'(ताण्डब), she was bed-ridden because of typhoid. While sick, her stone problem also intensified, forcing the doctors to perform surgery to remove it.
Actress Namrata was diagnosed of stone few years earlier but, as it wasn't creating problem she was asked to wait and drink a lot of liquid. After the surgery, the doctors have asked Namrata to take some rest. She has halted the shooting until she feels better. To take rest Namrata and her family are planning to go to Pokhara.

One of the movies that was affected by Namrata's illness was Subrat Acharya's 'Adhakatti'. The movie also features Namrata's real story. She however had finished the dubbing of 'Tandav' while she was sick. Because of her sickness, Namrata had to leave early during the audio launch of 'November Rain'.

होमबर्क सिकाउनु परेको भन्दै आफ्नो छोराको तीन औला काटिदिने सांघाइकी ३४ वर्षकी मिंगमेई सुनलाई प्रहरीले पक्डाउ  गरेको छ ।

उनी आफ्नो पति कामबाट समयमै घर आएर छोरालाई होमबर्क नसिकाएकोमा निकै आक्रोसित थिइन् । विवादकै क्रममा उनका पती कोठाबाट हिडे । आक्रोसित सुनले भने कोठाको एउटा कुनामा रोइरहेका ८ वर्षका छोरालाई टपक्क टिपेर किचनमा लगे र उनका तीन औला काटिदिइन् ।

छोरा चिच्याएपछि बाबुले सुने । दौडिएर आउँदा छोराको औला काटिएको देखेपछि उनले हतार हतार अस्पताल दौडाए । समयमै अस्पताल पुर्‍याएका कारण डाक्टरहरुले उनको औला जोड्न सफल भए ।

डाक्टर मेइ लिङले भनेका छन्-’उनको धेरै रगत बगेकेा थियो । तर, उनका बाबुले तीन बटै काटिएका औला समेत समयमै ल्याए ।’

PM SUSIL KOIRALA VOWS TO FULFILL LATE BP AND GP KOIRALA’S COMMITMENTS ON DEMOCRACY, DEVELOPMEN

Kathmandu. - 9 April,-  PM Sushil Koirala has said the government was moving ahead keeping the peace, stability, democracy, the democratic constitution and development in high priority.

Addressing a function organised on the occasion of late Girija Prasad Koirala’s memorial day, the People’s Movement Day and the establishment of the Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial Community College here today, he said the country was having to remain under the spell of poverty as it did not get peace and stability despite being endowed with immense natural resources.

“The Nepali Congress is moving ahead adopting the policy of consensus, collaboration, unity and conciliation propounded by the late BP Koirala and the late Girija Prasad Koirala,” Prime Minister Susil Koirala who is also the Nepali Congress president, said, expressing the commitment that his party would do the needful to fulfill the commitments of the two late leading figures of Nepali politics.

The prime minister mentioned the late GP(Girija Prasad) Koirala’s success in making the people’s movement fruitful and ending the situation of violence and killing in the country taking into confidence disparate political forces in an unwavering manner in a difficult situation.

“I don’t get the feeling that Girija Prasad Koirala is not in our midst even now due to the high motivation he provided. His dedication and commitment towards democracy would always be remembered in the Nepali politics,” the Prime Minister(Susil Koirala) said.

Patron of the college and Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala urged one and all to contribute towards making the community college established in the late Girijababu’s name as an exemplary centre of education in the country.

CA member Gagan Thapa stressed the need of issuing a democratic constitution within a year to taking the movement and the campaign initiated by the late Girija Prasad Koirala to a concrete conclusion.

President of Nepal Tarun Dal, the youth wing of the Nepali Congress, Udaya Shumsher Rana also called for the cooperation from all sides for raising the prestige of the college run in the name of the towering figure of the country’s democracy movement.

On the occasion, college founder Dhrubaraj Thapa, chairman Bhimsendas Pradhan, principal Khilanath Sapkota said the main objective of establishing the college is production of skilled and able human resources needed by the country and to increase access to higher education at affordable fees.

The college based at Chabahil of the capital is running BBS classes under the 4 year Bachelor’s Level and plans to run classes under the BA, B ED, MA and MBS level from the coming fiscal year. The college is also preparing to run various voctational programmes under CTEVT.

TELEPHONE SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE IN POSTAL OFFICE

Gorkha.- 10 April- The Dis. Postal Office Gorkha has been without telephone service for the past almost four months.

The Telecom Gorkha Branch had cut off phone service for due payment of Rs 14,000. The phone service has been disrupted in the postal office for long due of tariff.

Staff at the postal office said they have been compelled to work with their mobile phone after disruption of telephonic service.

The Dis. Postal Office Chief Sudhir Kumar Yadav said  'they have approached their concerned Department for payment of due tariff.'

Sex Scandal Actors Namrata Shrestha

Namrata Shrestha is in the top of the news these days with the release of her latest movie Mero Euta Saathi Chha(मेरो एउटा साथी छ).  I have seen the movie yet but I have heard that it is a cocktail of Hollywood, Bollywood and Korean movies. She had shown her acting potential in her last movie  Sano Sansar. (सानो संसार).

This post is about a 8 minutes video circulating in the internet recently. I am not much sure, but the dimple of the girl on the video resembles that of Namrata. The girl in the video seems to be well skilled in what she was doing. Although the couple are talking in English it sounds pretty much like Nepali ascent. The girl, although looking a bit drunk, is well aware of the video recording as the flash lights are turned on. At some point, she tells turn it off please…. its disturbing.
  
Please see the screenshot from video and compare with the original photo of Namrata. Do you think it is Namrata? If the latest scandal proves to be true she is supposed to be on headline for quite some time.

I hope the video is not a fabricated one to defame the aspiring artist.

UPDATE: Another video has surfaced. A 2:25 minutes long video seems like the first video in the series in which the guy blindfolds the girl. There should be more videos in the series. Too bad, they are talking in English all the time and not a single Nepali word. That why, I can be too sure that she is Namrata. It seems, there are more videos to come up as the guy told at the end of this video that he is going to setup the camera on a tripod.

UPDATE 2 (RUMORS): If rumors are to be believed, Namrata told that she was the girl in the video. The video was told to be released by the wife of the guy in the video as she took them to Maiti Nepal; a woman right advocate in Nepal, for her husband apology on the matter.

UPDATE 3: A website, filmykhabar, says that the guy in the video is DJ Trantik. Wife of DJ found this video and she took it to Maiti Nepal. 

It is still not known who released this video in the internet.

Madan Ghimire and Richa Singh Thakuri, tries to create a controversy to promote movie Maya Gara La

 The team of the movie scheduled to released on Baisakh second week(19 Baisak), ‘Maya Gara La’ hasn’t been able to reach actress Richa Singh Thakuri for the publicity of the movie. The availability of the actress for the publicity is considered critical on the success of the movie.

We suspect, the movie team  wants to create controversy over the actress to promote the movie. It started when the director Madan Ghimire has asked a journalist to help find his actress before the release of the movie. By the way the unavailability of the actress has been publicized, it is more about defaming the actress than the publicity of the movie.

According to rumors, now a days Richa Singh Thakuri is in Dubai. She is a dancer in a dance bar in the Arab country. The film makers have contacts with Richa’s friends and families and they are highly likely to know the whereabouts of the actress. We believe, asking journalist to find the actress is just a publicity stunt. Actresses Richa Singh Thakuri regularly go to Dubai to dance in the casinos and dance bars there. She is one of the actresses mentioned in the article.

The director Ghimire also told that Richa hasn’t been in contact since the dubbing of the movie. Madan Ghimire is had previously directed a movie made on dance bars and bar girls –

Aryan and Namrata launched November Rain, audio

The audio of upcoming movie of Namrata Shrestha and Aryan Sigdel, ‘November Rain’ was launched in a press meet organized on April 8. In the event actor and producer Namrata and Aryan Sigdel talked about the movie and the singers sang the songs too. ‘November Rain’ features only three songs.

producer Subash told that the movie is made on a heart touching story and he expected the movie to make a record breaking collection. Aryan Sigdel had produced the movie with producer Subash Giri.

The story of the Film is written by Samipya Timilsena in association with Rajesh Shreshtha and Chhaitan Gurung. The music of the Film is composed by Tara Prakash Limbu. The actor Aryan Sigdel is getting married to Sapana Bhandari a week before the release of the movie. Subash Giri had expressed concern about the lead actor getting married days before the movie release could affect the movie negatively.
